As Amy Cuddy, the author of Presence, says, “Our bodies change our minds, and our minds can change our behavior, and our behavior can change our outcomes.”  Cuddy’s research shows that adopting specific postures, or “power poses”, can boost your confidence, reduce your stress, and improve your performance in challenging situations. She calls this the “postural feedback effect”, and it is based on the idea that our body language influences our hormones, emotions, and cognition. This is what yoga has been teaching for thousands of years.

 In this four week program, you will discover the wisdom of yoga through the epic journey of the Ramayana, one of the most influential stories in yogic culture. You will learn the archetypal characters and stories that inspired the yoga poses that reflect their qualities and attributes. You will also practice these poses and experience their benefits for yourself. Join us and embark on a transformative adventure of body, mind, and spirit.

Yoga teaches that our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energies are expressed through the chakras, the energy centers in our body. Working with the chakras can bring healing by restoring the balance and harmony of the energy flow in your body.


Each chakra is associated with different aspects of your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, and when they are imbalanced, you might experience various symptoms, such as pain, illness or fatigue.


In this 7 week yoga course we will examine the chakras as energy centers of transformation using the body and breath to release tension and regulate the flow of energy bringing balance to the entire system.
