Membership
When you support the arts, you support the cultural enrichment of your community. Each contribution, regardless of size, contributes to new experiences, ideas and perspectives that will impact Atchison for generations to come.
How Your Membership Supports the Atchison Art Association
When you become a member of the Atchison Art Association, you do more than join an organization—you invest in creativity, education, and the cultural growth of our community. Memberships directly support programs and events that keep the arts accessible to all ages.
Art Education Programs
Memberships help fund our four growing education programs: Masters Then & Now for homeschool students, Cultural Education Programs for children ages 5–12, Teen Art Club for ages 12–17, and Adult Education Programs that encourage lifelong creativity and learning.
Community Showcase
Membership support helps make the Community Showcase possible, our annual exhibition celebrating local and regional artists and the role art plays in vibrant communities. Held each year from February through April, this year’s showcase featured more than 60 artists and over 120 works of art. Members receive free entry into the showcase, and memberships also help cover receptions, workshops, and artist talks connected to the event.
Public Art Projects
Memberships also help us bring art beyond gallery walls and into the community through partnerships with local organizations. These projects may include murals, mosaics, gardens, installations, and other creative community enhancement efforts.
