Look inside:

The Art of Nature Journaling

Students of all skill levels are invited to join Naturalist, artist, photographer, Carla Wick twice a month for a journey of discovery through nature. As a renowned mycologist, Carla is credited with the discovery of 23 new species for our area. Her photos have graced the cover of Mycology Today. Her extensive knowledge of local biosystems will captivate you with new discoveries each week. Every class, weather permitting, will meet at a predetermined location for a nature walk. Carla will teach observation skills, offer information on plant and animal species to watch for, and lead you in artfully recording your findings. When weather is an issue, the class will meet indoors to work on art techniques.

Whether you are discovering the intricacies of the natural world for the first time, or reestablishing a valuable hobby you are sure to be delighted each week with new discoveries.
